You can combine goods into categories of ingredients to see the current amount of vegetables, meat, or dairy product in stock.

To add categories of ingredients:

  1. Go to Products → Categories of ingredients in the management console.

  2. Click Add.

  3. Fill in the Name. For example, “Vegetables” or “Seafood”.

  4. Click Save.

  5. Go to Products → Ingredients.

  6. Click Edit next to the ingredient and choose the category from the drop-down list.

  7. Click Save.

💡 You can create a “Household goods” category with all the household ingredients to record the stock of paper towels or washing materials. Categories of ingredients are not displayed on the register so they will not distract the waiter.

Set up a low stock alert to control stock and make purchases on time.
