Use the import of products to quickly add them to Poster. For example, bottled lemonade.

💡 Export products from the storage or download the sample to get a template. Delete the examples of products in the template, fill in the columns, and save the file in CSV, XLS, or XLSX format. Then import the table with products to Poster.

To import products:

  1. Go to Menu → Products in the management console.

  2. Click ••• on the upper right corner and select Import products.

  3. Click Upload to select a table with products on your computer and upload it to Poster.

  4. Click Start import.

  5. Match fields Name, Category, Station, Barcode, Type, Price, Weight item, and Tax with the columns.

  6. Click Check data.

  7. If everything is correct, click Import.

💡 If you work in the store version, download the sample file for import and fill in Name, Category, SKU, Barcode, Type, Price, Weight item, and Tax columns.

SKU is a product unique code that helps waiters add it to the order quickly by clicking 🔎 in the upper right corner of the register.

🚧 Soon you’ll be able to import data from a mobile version of your management console. And while we’re working on the update, you can upload a table with products from a web app.

You can import products together with modifications to make your menu or catalog more compact. It will help your employees to find and sell products quicker.
