Connect printer to Poster by LAN:
Turn on the printer.
Insert a paper roll inside the printer.
Connect the printer by LAN to your Wi-Fi router.
Connect the Poster POS tablet to your Wi-Fi router.
Launch and sign in to Poster POS app.
Tap ≡ → Devices at the top right to select a printer.
Select ESC/POS device from the list.
Enable Receipt slider to allow printing customer receipts.
Enable Station sliders to allow printing order tickets to Kitchen or Bar.
Tap Print a test receipt to see if the printer works.
☝️ If you can't find ESC/POS in ≡ → Devices after following the steps above, make sure both the printer and tablet are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
If you are using an iOS 15+ tablet:
Go to Settings and tap Poster in the app list.
Enable the Local network to allow Poster work with a LAN printer.
💡 If you have multiple printers connected, you can identify them by tapping Print test receipt in ≡ → Devices.
💡 To change the font size, go to ≡ → Devices, tap Settings, and set the Paper width. You can also turn on Increased ticket font size to make the font bigger for tickets only.
