To add a storage location:

  1. Go to Inventory → Storage locations in the management console.

  2. Click Add.

  3. Write storage Name and Address.

  4. Assign Locations to this storage so their sales get written-off from here automatically.

  5. Click Save.

Set up specific write-off rules if the same ingredients are kept in different storages. For example, lemon is used both in the kitchen and bar like in salads and cocktails.

💡 Deleting a storage results in deleting its stock balances as well.

☝️ Once a storage location is supplied with ingredients for the first time Poster starts writing off ingredients from that particular storage location unless they are supplied to another storage or more specific write-off rules are set.
