To view ingredients and products movement:

  1. Go to Inventory → Ingredients movements in the management console.

  2. Set the reporting period at the top right.

  3. Select storage location displayed in a spreadsheet.

  4. Select the product type and category being displayed.

  5. Click + Filter to set up a more specific report filtering

  6. Click to add or hide some extra columns if necessary.

  7. Sort column data by clicking it.

  8. Look at the initial and final average cost.

  9. Click next to the products to see more detailed info on supply or expense movements.

  10. View the total cost of all products for the selected period at the bottom of the table.

💡 Click Export to download an Excel copy of the spreadsheet or click Print to print a report.

☝️ The report is displayed for a calendar day, not for a cash shift.

☝️ Food cost calculation is based on supplies and the weighted average cost method
