Working on credit terms? No worries, Poster allows you to split purchases. Simply enter the desired payment amount to split the purchase. You can even divide a purchase between multiple accounts.

To split a supply payment:

  1. Go to Inventory → Supplies in the management console.

  2. Select a supply and click ‘Edit’ next to it.

  3. Click +Add payment.

  4. Enter the payment account, time, and date.

  5. Specify the desired payment sum to divide the purchase into multiple payments.

  6. Click +Add payment again if you need to create another payment for this supply.

  7. Remember, multiple payments can be designated to different accounts.

  8. Scroll down and click 'Save'.

  9. Poster will automatically adjust figures in 'Finances → Transactions' and 'Finances → Cash shifts' tabs.

☝️ Quick Tip: To easily review mutual settlements with suppliers, go to the Inventory → Supplies tab. Here, you can view statuses such as 'Paid', 'Unpaid', and observe pending amounts in the 'Payment due' column.

Even if an inventory period is closed, you can still make payments to settle any debts with suppliers.
