Configure different menus in your locations.

Hide certain menu items in your locations to allow operating with different menus:

To hide a product in a certain location:

  1. Go to Menu → Products.

  2. Click Edit next to the product.

  3. In Options section enable Different prices for other locations and order sources.

  4. Disable Show feature next to the location where the item is not available.

  5. Click Save.

☝️ Now, this product is not displayed for waiters using the second and third location POS.

To hide a dish in a certain location:

  1. Go to Menu → Dishes

  2. Click Edit next to the dish.

  3. Click Display and price settings for locations.

  4. Disable locations where the item is not available.

  5. Click Save.

☝️ Now, this dish is not displayed for waiters using the second location POS.

💡 Hide Categories of products and dishes to avoid hiding each item manually.

To hide a category:

  1. Go to Menu Categories of products and dishes.

  2. Click Edit next to the category.

  3. Disable locations where the category is not available in Display for locations section.

💡 Filter a Location parameter in the Menu → Dishes or Products to see which items are displayed in the particular location.

☝️ Hidden items are displayed in grey or transparent.

Manage different menus by using multiple accounts.

In case your locations have menu differences higher than 15%, sign up a new account with a different menu. It's easier than managing it in a single account.

💡 To sign up a new Poster account fill up the form here.

💡 We can copy your old menu to your new account if you need multiple accounts with a slightly different menu. Contact our support team for help with that.
