Create custom order sources in addition to the types that are already available by default: Dine-in, Takeout, and Delivery. This tool allows you to increase menu prices for certain order sources. For example, Uber Eats can have slightly higher prices due to being a third-party delivery platform.

Custom order sources are available in Business and Pro plans.

To create a custom order source:

  1. Go to Settings → Orders.

  2. In Order source tab click Add.

  3. Name the source, for example, Uber Eats.

  4. Enable Display on the POS to make it available.

  5. Click Save.

To edit order source price:

  1. Go to Menu → Dishes.

  2. Click Edit next to a required dish.

  3. Set up custom prices for a dish ordered by this source in Display and price settings for locations.

  4. Save changes.

💡 Hide a dish in a particular order source. Disable the source name under Display and price settings for locations while editing the dish in Menu → Dishes.

💡 Hide an entire category by disabling Order sources while editing the category in Menu Categories of products and dishes.

To create an order with a particular order source:

  1. Launch and log in to your Poster POS app.

  2. Click New order at the top left and select an order source. For example, Uber Eats.

  3. Add the products available for this particular source.

  4. Click Pay to close the order once a courier arrives to pick it up.

⚠️ Once the order source is selected on the POS, dishes, and categories hidden in that source would not be available for ordering.

💡 Click Orders at the top left of your POS screen to go back to the order list.
