🍔 Beef Cheeseburgers. At the beginning of the day, chef cooks two days' worth of cheese sauce. Cooks assemble a burger once it's ordered and add the sauce prepared in advance.
How to do this in Poster so the sauce ingredients are deducted in the morning, and the stock balance is correct?
Add a preparation "Cheese Sauce"
Fill up the preparation ingredients in Recipe.
Enter Gross and Net weights or cooking methods for each ingredient.
Click Save.
Add a dish, "Beef Cheeseburger".
Fill up the Recipe with ingredients: Buns, Beef. And preparations: Cheese Sauce.
Supply the ingredients included in Cheese Sauce to get an accurate manufacturing cost.
Add a manufacture of Cheese Sauce in Inventory → Manufactures.
Create 2 kg of sauce in Kitchen storage
For 2 kg of sauce, Poster deducts equivalent quantities of egg yolk, butter, cheese, and cream from the storage and replaces them with 2 kg of ready-made sauce in stock.
Once Beef Cheesburger is sold, Buns and Beef ingredients are deducted from stock. As well as the ready-made Cheese Sauce preparation.
If the dish cooking process was changed and the sauce is cooked right before serving a burger, track sauce ingredients instead of the ready-made sauce. Disable preparation manufacturing to do that.

Manufacture can be a good help in keeping stock records if you prepare food in advance:
Preparations: sauces, dough, fillings. anything prepared in advance and used in further cooking.
Dishes: brownies, cakes, dumplings, pancakes, and syrups that you keep in stock before sale.
☝️ Do not use manufacture in Poster if you start cooking upon order, or utilize all your dough, and sauces within a day while disposing of any leftovers. As manufacture would unnecessarily complicate the stock records.
Add supplies and manufactures in Poster on the same day as you receive products or cook meals. Thus you can track the current stock balance in the management console or Poster Boss app.
